Rector
Val Nellist came to us in 1999 when the ABI Group was formed. She was already serving as non stipendiary priest at St Peter’s, Inverkeithing having undertaken training within the Diocese and then with the Theological Institute of the Scottish Episcopal Church. Val was part of that first group of women to be ordained priest in the Episcopal Church in 1994, having been made deacon in 1990. She was elected Canon by the clergy of the Diocese in 1997 and has been Synod Clerk since 2007. Val is married to Robert, a civil engineer, and they have a daughter and a son, now grown up and living away from home.
Lay Ministers
We have a team of lay people who are authorised to share in the leading of worship.
Organist and Music Director
Josephine Quinney plays our recently refurbished pipe organ and directs both St Serf’s choir and the ABI Singers. The ABI Singers are singers from the three ABI churches plus friends from the Church of Scotland in Inverkeithing and Aberdour, and the Erskine Church, Burntisland.

Our Vestry Secretary and Lay Representative is David Baynham; Church Wardens, Sadie Edwards and Sheena Livingstone and Treasurer, Ian Harper.
